Who publishes Best FDE Programs

Best FDE Programs compares training programs for forward deployed engineering and applied AI: what each teaches, how it is delivered and who it suits.

What we will not do

We never make up authors, reviews, ratings, pay figures or statistics, never tell a reader that a job or a raise is certain, and never take payment for coverage. When we recommend a company we have a connection with, we say so right where the recommendation appears.

How we are funded

We take no payment for coverage and earn no referral fees. We have a business connection with Torchlane. It runs an AI FDE training program and introduces employers to forward deployed engineering candidates. Where an article recommends Torchlane, it labels it "Our top pick" and repeats the note in the same place. A link to Torchlane passes through an address on this site that records the click before sending you on; the Privacy Policy explains what is recorded.

Torchlane also uses the same analytics account as this site; the Privacy Policy says what that means for you. Other programs, companies and options are described in their own published terms, and the site carries no display advertising.

Sourcing and fact-checking

Factual claims are footnoted, with a numbered link to the source. When we cannot find a source for something, we leave it out.

  • Facts about a company, product, program or certification come from that organization's own published pages: documentation, course and exam pages, and job postings.
  • Research findings link to the paper or report itself.
  • Pay and job-market numbers come from primary data (the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, public filings, pay ranges in job postings) and say which period they cover.

A note on advice

Our articles explain how roles, programs and markets work and what the evidence shows. They are not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation, whether the decision is about your career, a contract, a hire or money.
